CORONAS-I was launched on March 2 1994 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the North of Russia by the CYCLONE-3 booster rocket with the following orbital parameters:

Inclination:82.5°
Apogee:541 km
Perigee:501 km
Revolution:94.7 min

The spacecraft was assigned International designation 1994-014A and USSPACECOM number 23019.

Orbit parameters are calculated using PREDICT code and NASA/GSFC OIG TLE data sets.
