Large Solar events during fall 2003


October - November 2003 has been marked with a number of extremely powerfull solar flares of class X. The largest of them were X17.4 (28.10.2003), X10 (29.10.2003) and X28 (04.11.2003). Below is an image from the SRT (Solar X-Ray Telescope, LPI) onboard the CORONAS-F spacecraft (final image processing by IZMIRAN).
