CORONAS-F Tracking

DIFOS

Results

The DIFOS photometer on board the CORONAS-F is operational since Aug 22, 2001. During this time data is obtained on the variations of solar emission in 6 spectral bands for more than a year of contious observations. Work is being carried out on the comprehensive archive of DIFOS observations. The data obtained contains measurements of solar emission intensity in the following spectral bands: 350 nm, 500 nm, 650 nm (two channels), 850 nm (two channels), 1100 nm and 1500 nm. In addition, data on the photosensors' temperature is available. Quality of data is quite good. Level of data loss does not exceed 10% of the total photometer working time and is mainly connected with the telemetry signal quality.
